What Does a Celebrant do?
I am a fully qualified IIOC family Celebrant. My role is to support and facilitate you both on Celebrating your marriage/ occasion
through conducting a joyful, personalised ceremony surrounded by your loved ones. I will do this by
getting to know you and your dreams of your special day. I will then design a ceremony based on this. I
will write and conduct a ceremony that will provide wonderful memories for you both and lasting
memories for your family & friends.

The best part of choosing a Celebrant led wedding is that you
get to be a part of designing this beautiful day.
Prior to 2011 there were only 2 options in getting married:
Religious Ceremonies - Priest led church weddings
Civil Ceremonies - Registry Offices
Now the option of Celebrant led weddings has become very popular for the following reasons:
Celebrants can perform the ceremony at a venue/ location of your choice
Celebrants can perform the ceremony on a date / time of your choice
Celebrants can perform blended ceremonies - and can, if you desire, include: elements of religion, spiritualism, paganism, rituals or traditions.
At present to hold a Celebrant led ceremony you must also register with the HSE for 2 appointments:
Notification of intent to marry
Signing of legal documents

Once your celebration has been legalised through the HSE we can then concentrate on making your celebration enchanting!
Vow Renewals:
Vow renewal ceremonies highlight to your guests the importance of re-commiting to the marriage. We can work together to design a ceremony that honours the journey you have both been on together so far, that can tell the story of the adventures you have had together and renew the energy to create new stories & adventures.
